Report: Evan Mathis Wants A New Deal, Eagles Put Him On Trade Block
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Eagles have made it know their Pro Bowl guard Evan Mathis is available via trade. Mathis, 32, signed a five-year deal worth $25.5 million in 2012 and is due $5.15 million in 2014.
Mathis started all 16 games for the Eagles last season. He was selected as an all-pro and earned himself his first ever trip to the Pro Bowl.
Rapoport says that Mathis wants a new deal after his breakout season last year.
