Police Seek Suspect Who Robbed TD Bank In Broad Daylight

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The FBI along with the Philadelphia Police Department are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a suspect who robbed a TD Bank in the Bustleton section of the city.

On Saturday, March 1st at 10:16 a.m. the unknown man entered the bank located at 9996 Haldeman Avenue. He then approached the teller with a threatening demand note.

After taking an undisclosed amount of money, he fled on foot and was last seen walking west on Red Lion Road.

A witness saw a gray SUV with a male, appearing to be the suspect, hunched over the driver's seat looking at the bank. The SUV then left the area going south on Haldeman Avenue.

The male is described as a white male, 40 to 50-years-old, 6'1", thin build, wearing an "Eagles" knit cap, a wig and a red "Marlboro" jacket.

Police ask that if you see this man, do not approach him but contact 911 immediately.
