Fans Approve Of Riley Cooper Signing

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – In July, Riley Cooper was caught on tape using a racial slur at a Kenny Chesney concert. The incident quickly became a national story and consequently, Cooper became a controversial figure. Many fans and media personalities expressed strong opinions saying the Eagles should cut Cooper because of the incident.

16 games, 10 wins, 47 catches, 835 yards, eight touchdowns, a playoff appearance, and eight short months later, Cooper and the Eagles agreed to a five year, $25 million contract extension ($10 million guaranteed) on Thursday.

Apparently, Eagles fans have come around on Cooper too. The "WIP Morning Show" asked on the Audio Roadshow app, 'How do you feel about the Eagles signing Riley Cooper to a new contract?'

Over 90% of the fans said it is a good football move.
