Hazmat Situation Forces Evacuations In Montco

PLYMOUTH TWP., Pa. (CBS) – A hazmat situation forced the evacuation of an entire block in Plymouth Township, Montgomery County Saturday.

Firefighters were first called to the 100 block of Archbishop Drive just before 11 a.m.

A homeowner was arrested for possessing chemicals. He is being treated at the hospital for burns. There’s no word yet on what type of chemicals were found

Crews are working on decontamination the house.

Officials are investigating.
