PAOLI, Pa. (CBS) — Winter isn’t letting up. Another blast of snow blew through the region Tuesday morning.
In Paoli, commuters dealt with another headache as they headed in to work.
Tom McBride got up early and drove to teach a spin class in town.
“Nobody showed up!” said McBride. “And I don’t blame them because the roads are very hazardous!”
No one knows Paoli’s winters like Jim “Ziggy.”
He’s been a letter carrier for almost 30 years and has worked outside, loyally delivering mail in the area, year round.
“This is probably the second worst of the 28 winters I’ve spent delivering mail,” said Ziggy.
There is relief in sight, he’s retiring in just 10 days.
“February 28th and I’m calling it quits! I’ve had enough being out in the elements,” said Ziggy.
