BORDENTOWN, NJ (CBS) – A North Jersey man who believed he was meeting a 15-year-old Bordentown girl for sex has been arrested, officials say.

The man, 52-year-old Reid E. Klauber, of Bridgewater, thought he’d been communicating with a 15-year-old girl online when he showed up in Bordentown to meet her on Feb. 11th.

Instead, Klauber was arrested by law enforcement and charged with Attempt to Commit Sexual Assault and Attempted Luring Through an Electronic Means.

Officials say Klauber had condoms, beer, wine, vodka and $100 in cash inside his vehicle.

The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office says it conducted the investigation along with the Bordentown Township Police Department.
