Hazmat Incident Reported At Temple University's Campus

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Chopper 3 over the scene as crews responded to a hazmat situation on the campus of Temple University.

The incident was reported around 6:30 p.m. on the 1900 block of N. 13th Street in North Philadelphia.

CBS 3 is told there was a chemical spill on the fourth floor of Beury Hall, home to the school's chemistry department.

The fourth floor was evacuated as a precaution.

Students were advised to use caution and avoid the area.

It's unclear if anyone was injured.
