Suspects Enter Store Through Ceiling, Steal SEPTA Passes And Cash

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Philadelphia Police Department is looking to identify two suspects who robbed an Ace Check Cashing in Franklinville.

On Feb. 10 around 9:45 a.m., a 27-year-old female was inside of the Ace Check Cashing at 3509 Germantown Avenue when two unknown men in ski masks entered the store through the ceiling.

Once inside, the suspects held the employee at gunpoint and stole several weekly and monthly SEPTA trans-passes and tokens as well as an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspects then fled the store and were last seen heading north on Germantown Avenue and then west on Venango Street.

Both suspects are described as black males with "husky" builds. The first is 20-30 years old and about 5'6". He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black boots, black gloves and a black ski mask. He was also armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is around 5'7" and was wearing a royal blue hooded sweatshirt, black gloves and a black ski mask and was armed with a gun.
