PHILADELPHIA (CBS)  —  It may feel like it was just yesterday when you first heard that Beatles song, but believe it or not, it came out more than four decades ago.

For some, it takes you right back to that time. Researchers are now connecting the dots between music and memory.

Numerous studies have shown the relationship impacts areas of the brain, including reward, motivation, emotion, and arousal, and there’s no doubt that long-term impact of music can have similar effects.
