PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – It is a very special year for one of Philadelphia’s premiere Catholic Universities. Holy Family University is celebrating its 60th Anniversary.

In honor of this milestone, Philadelphia Archbishop Charles Chaput received an honorary degree Sunday. It was presented by University President Francesca Onley, who is the longest serving university president in the Philadelphia Area.

This happened after a celebratory mass that was led by Chaput.

Throughout the week, Holy Family students and faculty will participate in a variety of celebrations.
