PHILADELPHIA (CBS)–This wild week of wintry weather continues. Round one yesterday and round two is just a few hours away. Our next storm will bring it all: Snow, Ice & Rain. This triple threat will bring many problems and this time location is everything.

A Winter Storm Warning goes into effect overnight for most of the region and a Winter Weather Advisory will go into effect overnight for central DE and Southern and Eastern NJ. In addition to hazardous travel Wednesday morning, significant icing of .25-.5″ could take down tree limbs and power lines especially in our far NW suburbs and the Lehigh Valley.

Here is what we expect by region:

Southern NJ/DE
(Around 1″ of rain)

11PM – 1AM: Storm starts as a brief period of Ice and changes to Rain
1AM – 1PM: Heavy Rain
After 1PM: Rain Tapers, Gradual Clearing

Philadelphia/Adjacent Suburbs
(Up to .10″ of Ice expected before the change to rain)

12AM – 2AM: Storm starts as period of snow changing quickly to Sleet and Freezing Rain
2AM – 6AM: Ice to Heavy Rain (change from South to North)
6AM – 1PM: Heavy Rain
After 1PM: Ran Tapers, Gradual Clearing

Lehigh Valley & Far NW suburbs
(Snow 4-6″ followed by .25-.5″ of Ice)

12AM – 2AM: Snow Arrives
2AM – 6AM: Snow changes to Sleet and Freezing Rain
6AM – 1PM: Significant Icing
After 1PM: slowly clearing

(Snow 6-10″)
12AM – 1PM: Heavy Snow
