Police ID 3 Suspects In Center City Pickpockets

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)—The Philadelphia Police Department has identified three suspects wanted for several pick-pocketing incidents around the city.

Police identify the first suspect as Timothy Mosley.  He has several addresses across the city from the 400 block of Sharon Avenue, Sharon Hill, Pa., 1200 block of South 53rd Street, 20 block of North 62nd Street, and the 1200 block of South 53rd Street.

The second suspect named is James Black. Authorities say he is known to operate a 1990 Cadillac Deville Coupe tan in color, with a Pa. Tag of JHY-8788. His last known address is from the 500 block of North 59th Street.

The third suspect is Renza Sheaff also known as Tina Hainey.  She has also used the name as Robin Davis in the past as well as several other names. Sheaff previously resided on the 2600 block of South 80th Street and the 20 block of North 62nd Street.

The trio first allegedly struck in May 3, 2013 at a Starbucks Coffee House on 1500 Market Street. They are accused of stealing a female's wallet from her handbag, which was hanging on the back of her chair. Police say the trio then made a series of fraudulent purchases with the victim's credit card totaling more than $2,000.

The trio allegedly struck again later that month.  A woman told police her wallet was stolen from her purse while it was hanging on the back of her chair. Later, the victim received a call from her credit card company saying her cards were used to make several purchases at Rite Aid and Lowe's Home Improvement totaling more than $1,000. According to police, surveillance photos from the Rite Aid and Lowe's capture Mosley and Sheaff.

The third incident occurred on September 20th, at the Metropolitan Diner at 264 South 19th Street. A woman said someone stole the wallet out of her purse while she was dining in the restaurant. Police say surveillance video showed Mosley, Black and Sheaff. Authorities say the trio then went to Home Depot and bought $1,500 in gift cards using the victim's credit cards.

The trio struck yet again on November 23rd. A woman said she was in the Rouge Gallery, located at 11 South 21st Street, when her wallet was taken from her pocket book on the bar next to her. Police say the victim later received a call from her credit card company saying her cards were used to make more than $1,000 in purchases at Home Depot. Authorities say Mosley was captured on Home Depot's surveillance video.

The incident on January 10, 2014 captured the public's attention. (see related story)

The three suspects were caught on camera at stealing a wallet from a female's purse at Rice & Mix Restaurant in Center City.  A video surveillance captures a black female, who was later identified as Renza Sheaff, also known as Tina Hainey, walking over to the counter to distract the clerk. Surveillance also shows a black male, later identified as Timothy Mosley, sit directly behind the woman and take her wallet from her pocketbook. Mosley then got up, walked over to the other accused suspects, had a conversation with them and left the restaurant, fleeing in an unknown direction.
