UPDATE: Animal Remains Found In Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say animal remains were found near Nazareth Hospital in Northeast Philadelphia.

The incident was reported at about 5:30 p.m. Monday along the 2600 block of Holme Avenue.

Philadelphia Police say the remains were discovered near a dumpster.

A cadaver dog was brought to the scene and investigators later determined the remains were animal bones.
