Holiday, Snow Impact City’s Trash Pick-Up Schedule

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Because of Monday’s national holiday and Tuesday’s snow, the Philadelphia Streets Department announced these changes to the trash and recycling pickup schedule:

Wednesday, January 22, there is no trash or recycling pickup so the trucks and crews can work on snow removal.

Residents whose usual trash day is Tuesday need to hold onto their trash until the next pickup Tuesday, January 28.

Residents whose usual trash day is Monday or Wednesday, pickup is Thursday, January 23.

Thursday materials will be picked up Friday, January 24.

Friday materials will be picked up Saturday, January 25.
