Authorities Investigate 3 Suspected Storm-Related Deaths In Delaware County

RIDLEY Twp., Pa., (CBS) — Police in Delaware County are investigating the deaths of three people who were found outside during dangerous temperatures Wednesday.

“At first I was in shock I guess because my husband and my son came in and said, ‘Mom, they found a dead body,’” eyewitness Dawn Heart said.

“There was police on the other side of Dale Road, and I also saw an ambulance,” eyewitness Sue Shaika said.

Shocked and confused Sue Shaika and neighbors say they watched nervously as crews removed a body from a field across the street in the 900 block of Dale Road.

“It’s sad, it’s very sad,” Heart said.
