Lineup For Delaware's 2014 Firefly Music Festival Released

By Chelsea Karnash

DOVER, Del. (CBS) – Music fans all over the East Coast, stop what you're doing: The 2014 Firefly Music Festival lineup has been released, and it looks epic.

According to a YouTube video posted on Tuesday afternoon, the genre-spanning lineup includes everyone from the Foo Fighters to Outkast. Other major acts slated to appear are The Lumineers, Imagine Dragons, Weezer, Jack Johnson, Tegan and Sara, Airborne Toxic Event and many more.

Red Frog Events, which runs the festival, released a press release shortly after the video was posted. The company says 95 bands will play on seven stages at this year's event. Fans will also see the return of the Dogfish Head Brewery, The Arcade, The Coffee House and The Hammock Hangout, along with some new features set to be announced as the festival draws closer. And the festival will again donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Firefly, which is now in its third year, has also added an extra day of acts to the schedule, beginning on Thursday, June 19 (rather than Friday) and running through Sunday, June 22.

"The addition of a fourth day, along with the expansion of our festival acreage and lineup, makes this the most exciting Firefly yet. These changes reflect our commitment to providing our fans the premier experience they expect from us not only this year, but in the years to come," says Firefly Music Festival Director Greg Bostrom in the release.

Super VIP and VIP passes are currently on sale, with General Admission passes available starting Monday, Jan. 20th at noon.

Last year, the second annual Firefly Music Festival attracted tens of thousands of fans to the Dover Speedway despite major traffic delays.

Organizers expect an even bigger turnout in 2014.
