Woman Steals Purse Of 81-Year-Old Shopper In Delaware
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) -- Police in Delaware are searching for a female suspect who stole the purse of an 81-year-old woman who was shopping inside a supermarket.
The incident happened at about 4 p.m. Monday at the Acme Market in the Fairfax Shopping Center in Wilmington, Delaware.
Investigators say the 81-year-old woman was grocery shopping when the suspect removed the victim's purse from her shopping cart. The purse contained an undisclosed amount of cash and personal property.
After stealing the victim's purse, the suspect walked out of the store. The incident was captured on the store's surveillance cameras.
The suspect is described as a white female, 25-30 years of age, 5'7'-5'9", 130-140 lbs. with an average build. She was last seen wearing a black coat with fur around the hood, jeans and white sneakers.
