Pa. Turnpike Operating Under Winter Weather Advisory
HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) – With dangerously cold weather blanketing much of the United States, the Pennsylvania Turnpike has announced it is operating under a Winter Weather Advisory.
According to officials, extra safety patrols are being conducted due to the severely low temperatures.
Motorists who become disabled in their vehicles are asked to immediately call *11 from their cell phone or dial 800-932-0586. Drivers can also activate one of the emergency call boxes on the side of the road for immediate assistance.
This also applies to I-76 and I-476.
