Woman Assaulted, Car Stolen In Windsor Hills Community

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS)—Police are investigating after a woman was found unresponsive in her home on the 100 block of Cambridge Drive Thursday morning.

Upon arrival, officers observed that the 61-year-old female had been assaulted and she was immediately tended to by paramedics on the scene.

She was then transported to Christiana Hospital where she is listed in critical condition.

During the investigation, police discovered that the female victim’s dark gray Lexus sedan was missing from her home.

Detectives are currently conducting interviews and trying to determine a possible suspect and motive.
