PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia police are investigating two separate robberies overnight at convenience stores in the city.

The first incident happened around 1:00 a.m. Sunday at a Wawa along the 8800 block of Krewstown Road in Northeast Philadelphia.

Authorities say the robber acted as if he was armed with a weapon and made off with an unknown amount of cash.

About an hour later, a clerk at a 7-Eleven store at 10th and Filbert Streets in Center City was robbed at knife point.

There was no word on how much money was taken.

Police say no one was injured during either robbery.

Investigators are searching for the suspect in each case.
