Man Killed After Being Shot 9 Times In Overbrook Double Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police are investigating a double shooting Friday night that left one man dead and another man injured.

The shooting happened shortly before 9 p.m. at Lansdowne Avenue and Allison Street in Overbrook.

Police say a 26-year-old victim was shot nine times. He was pronounced dead at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

A 24-year-old was shot in the leg and is listed in stable condition.

There is no word on a motive or any arrests.

The incident remains under investigation.
