Investigation Underway After Woman Found Murdered In Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Pa., (CBS) – An investigation is underway into the murder of a mother of three in the Lehigh Valley.
Neighbors are describing the shocking scene that unfolded in a Bethlehem street.
“She was so nice, she was so thankful that I was helping her,” neighbor Gary Yost said.
Overcome with emotion, Gary Yost cannot believe his next-door neighbor is dead, found in the middle of the street with one of her children crying over her body. That’s according to neighbors who were too traumatized to talk on camera.
Yost, in the meantime, says he just helped the victim shovel snow this past weekend and she could not have been more grateful.
“It’s unbelievable, unbelievable,” Yost said.
The Lehigh County Coroner’s office confirms they were called to a home in the 300 block of Central Park Avenue Tuesday afternoon. That’s where authorities say the 37-year-old victim was shot to death. Her estranged husband, officials say, is now under arrest for murder.
“It’s just very sad. Especially at this time of the year, it makes it even worse, my heart bleeds for the family and for the kids,” neighbor Joanie Alston said.
“It was a police car so I asked the officer what happened and he just said there was a family dispute,” Yost said.
Yost recalls that police visit from several weeks ago. He was told then no one was hurt. This time, CBS 3 is told what started as an argument ended with the murder of the mother of three.
According to authorities, the victim is 37-year-old Thida Myint. The suspect again is her estranged husband who has been identified as Win Min Htut. When asked about a possible motive, CBS 3 is told the victim obtained a Protection from Abuse order which was just finalized this morning.
