PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Philadelphia History Museum presents “Behind the Scenes of the Nutcracker” through January 31st.

Listen to the podcast below…

Charles Croce is Executive Director of the museum and says people will learn what’s involved in putting each performance together.

“It literally involves some 274 people,” he explains.

Visitors will also get to see some of the costumes up close.

“The tiara that’s worn by the Sugar Plum Fairy, a toy soldier’s hat, a mouse head and a gorgeous dew drop costume and other archival things that date back over 40 years,” Croce adds.
