Many Philadelphia Post Offices Closing Early Due To Inclement Weather

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Trying to beat the crowds and get your holiday cards mailed out on this snowy Tuesday?

You might want to reconsider.

According to the United States Postal Service, many Philadelphia post offices will be closing early today due to the inclement weather.

The following offices will close at 4 p.m. on Tuesday:

Roosevelt Mall
Bustleton
Point Breeze
Penn's Landing
Continental Station
Wannamaker
Land Title

Bustleton will close at 5 p.m.

USPS says customers should call their local post office to make sure it's open before heading over.

Customers are also asked to salt and shovel their sidewalks and walkways so that mail carriers can safely navigate their route.
