PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A winter storm warning Tuesday for the I-95 corridor and adjacent counties.
Here we go again! The weather pattern continues to be very active. Snow lovers this is for you!
A disturbance over the south will race northeastward and arrive in the Delaware Valley Tuesday morning.
Expect snow to develop from west to east from 7-9 a.m. and continue through the morning.
Jet stream energy will be located over the Delaware Valley allowing for a period of heavy snow around mid-late morning.
This is a fast moving system and the snow will end by early afternoon.
Temperatures will be cold enough to support all snow, so no sleet or freezing rain is expected.
Snowfall amounts of 3-6″ are possible along I-95, including Philadelphia, Wilmington and Trenton, with lesser amounts farther north and south.
