Weather Blog: Another Round Of Snow

By Justin Drabick

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)--The weather pattern remains very active and if you are a snow lover, you are loving the forecast.

A disturbance in the jet stream over the southwest will race eastward tonight and arrive in the Delaware Valley Tuesday morning.

Expect snow to develop from west to east from 7-9 a.m. and continue through the morning.

Jet stream energy will be located over the Delaware Valley allowing for the opportunity for a brief period of heavy snow around mid-late morning.

This is a fast moving disturbance and the snow will end by early afternoon.

Temperatures will be cold enough to support all snow, so no sleet or freezing rain is expected.

Snowfall amounts off 2-4" are possible along I-95 and less amounts the farther north and south you are.

Winter weather advisories will probably be issued for parts of the region.
