Color Of The Year Revealed

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)--A company that surveys trends in popular culture has announced the official color of the year.
The company Pantone has announced that the official color of 2014 is radiant orchid.
What's that? It's a bright purplish pinkish color and many women say they now expect to see it everywhere.
"So there's usually one color that you'll find a lot of shirts or skirts or boots that will be the hot item, even you might find a coat in that color, too."
Another female says, "I like it. Like I wear a lot of stuff that's that color so it's like easy to find."
But it's not for everyone,"It's not my color because I'm too fair so it might not go well with my skin tone but I try different things."
Folks say they can usually tell the color of the season right away because it pops up everywhere, in every store, from clothes to appliances.
"It's kind of annoying but then just go to a different store if you don't like what they have there. That's what I do."
