PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Kevin Sbraga has opened his second restaurant, The Fat Ham, at 3131 Walnut Street.
“The concept behind The Fat Ham is really southern food,” Sbraga says, “but with a pork-centric menu.”

Meanwhile, author Carolyn Wyman is celebrating her favorite food with a new book — titled The Great American Chocolate Chip Cookie Book.
“It’s a history, a guide book and a cook book,” Wyman says, “telling the story of how the chocolate chip cookie was really invented 75 years ago this year.”

And Le Meridian is celebrating the holiday season with a $1,000 drink called The Getaway Cocktail. But general manager Evan Glenn Evans says 100% of that money goes to a charity of your choice, and since they’re partnering with Swarovski, you get some gifts as well.
“It’s somebody’s opportunity to come in and get two beautiful hand-crystallized Swarovski cocktail glasses, finished with one of our drinks,” Evans says. “It comes with the Nirvana ring for the females and it comes with a pair of cufflinks, the fasten cufflinks for the men.”
