Few Problems At PHL As Travelers Wrap Up Thanksgiving Weekend

By Justin Udo

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - According to Forbes Magazine, Sunday is the busiest air travel day of the Thanksgiving weekend.

For millions of people, pre-Thanksgiving air travel was marred by major storms and delayed flights all across the country. So with Sunday projected to be the busiest, it wouldn't be out of the question for folks to have some apprehensions about flying.

But many of the people at Philadelphia International who spoke to KYW Newsradio Sunday say things were not very complicated at all:

"The lines have moved well, so I haven't noticed any of the issues whatsoever."

"It's a busy day, so they're working pretty hard to help all their customers, but they do a good job of it."

"It's been pretty good, it's been pretty quick."

Sometimes it's not the airlines, but other passengers who cause the biggest headaches. But again, folks at PHL tell KYW Newsradio that was not the case Sunday.

"Everybody was polite and quiet, it was a good day."

"Actually I thought everybody was very reasonable today, very nice."

"Everyone was pretty nice, it was pretty relaxing."

Many folks agree this is actually one of the best travel days they've had in recent memory.
