Some Counties In Philadelphia Region Declaring Overnight 'Code Blues'

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ (CBS) – Another county in the Philadelphia region has declared a Code Blue.

Burlington County, NJ is at least the third area to do so. Officials say the Code Blue is in effect from 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27th through noon on Thursday, November 28, 2013.

On Tuesday, Montgomery County in Pennsylvania and Camden County, NJ also declared Code Blues.

Montgomery County's is in effect from 9 p.m. on Wednesday night until 9 a.m. on Sunday morning, while Camden County's begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday and ends at 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving.

Camden County also announced the implementation of warming centers. One is located at Joseph House at 523 Stevens Street and is open from 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. Additionally, the lobbies of the Camden County Police Administration Building located at 800 Federal Street and the Transportation Center will also be open from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. as a warming center during Code Blues.

Temperatures in the Greater Philadelphia area are expected to drop as the day goes on, and the high for Thanksgiving is just above freezing.
