Baby Boy Killed In Hamilton Car Accident

HAMILTON, Twp., N.J. (CBS)—A baby boy that was injured in a crash in Hamilton Township at 3:21 p.m. this afternoon has died.

The 28-day-old infant died following the accident on Klockner and Whatley roads.

Two females and a five-year-old girl were also injured in the collision.

A GMC Sierra truck struck the passenger side of a Hyundai Elantra that was making a left turn onto Whatley Road.

The 30-year-old driver of the Elantra and her two children were transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton, where her baby later died.

Her 50-year-old female passenger was transported to Capital Health-Fuld Campus for treatment.

An investigation is ongoing and any witnesses to the crash are asked to contact Hamilton Police.
