Puppy Acts As Brother's Guide Dog

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --  Brothers Jeffrey and Jermaine, eight month-old pups, were found wandering the streets of Philadelphia last month.

Jeffrey is blind and Jermaine acts as his loyal guide dog. Animal Rescue Operation Ava is trying to find them a permanent home.

"Jeffrey was following Jermaine around, basically, because he can't see on his own. So he literally was placing his head on Jermaine's back so that he could navigate. Jermaine was, of course, taking his time in making sure his brother could keep up," Ray Little of Operation Ava said.

According to Operation Ava's website, they accepted adoption applications until 5 p.m. Tuesday night.
