Man Critical After Car Flips Over On Roosevelt Blvd

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A man is in critical condition after his car flipped over Sunday morning while driving on the Roosevelt Boulevard.

The accident happened just before 8 a.m. on the Southbound lanes near Broad Street.

Authorities say the 33-year-old man was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control of his car while making a turn. The vehicle hit a barrier, went airborne and landed on its roof.

The driver was taken to Temple Hospital for treatment.
