MULLICA TOWNSHIP, NJ (CBS) – The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has announced an investigation into the death of a Hammonton man who was fatally struck by a Mullica Township Police patrol vehicle early Friday morning.

Perri was pronounced dead at the scene, while Officer Hutton was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing. Police ask anyone with information on the accident to call the Crash Investigations Unit at 609-909-7692.
