PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – So much for summer, baseball, daylight savings time and seemingly endless days of warm weather exercise. It is very easy to find reasons to not exercise this time of year but this can actually be the best time to get some exercise.
Many health clubs are running specials and the local Y is another option. The key to late fall and winter exercise is to select a plan that works for you. The best approach is to start slow and be consistent in your approach.
If you begin a program now you will no doubt be in far better condition when it gets warm again.
