PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Bacon and beer are both having a moment, and come this December, they’ll be having one together.

The first-ever Philadelphia Bacon and Beer Festival will be happening at the Hotel Monaco on Dec. 8th. The event will raise money for nonprofit MANNA, and is hosted by Rolling Barrel Events, @eatboston and Philly food writer and photographer Danya Henninger.

Tickets go on sale on Nov. 13 at 10 a.m. and allow hungry bacon and brew aficionados access to all the goodies.

Participating restaurants include Alla Spina, Pub & Kitchen, The Dandelion, Opa and more, and beer purveyors such as Victory, Sly Fox and Nodding Head will keep guests well-hydrated.
