Man Found Dead, Woman Found Bound Inside Chester County Home
EAST FALLOWFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa (CBS) -- Authorities say a man is dead and a woman was found bound inside a home in Chester County early Sunday morning.
Police received a call around 12:30 a.m. that a woman was bound and that a man had shot himself inside a home in East Fallowfield Township.
Officers arrived on scene where they found a woman tied up on the living room floor and a man with a single gunshot wound to the chest.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was taken to an area hospital and treated for unspecified injuries. Her condition was not immediately known.
Investigators believe the man tried to kill the woman before taking his own life in an attempted murder-suicide.
An investigation is ongoing.
