Brooklyn's Barclays Center To Feature "FU Philly Fries"

By Spike Eskin

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Let it be known, New York fans, that in this case it was you who took the first shot.

WFAN 660's morning show, Boomer and Carton, featuring former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason and former WIP personality Craig Carton, will be opening their own concession stand at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets and eventual home of the New York Islanders. The concession stand opens tonight, as the Brooklyn Nets face the Miami Heat.

The Boomer and Carton Kitchen, as it will be called, features a menu that was designed by Boomer and Carton. This menu includes an item called "FU Philly Fries," which are Nathan's fries with Old Bay seasoning.

The morning team has used the phrase before, in one case getting callers to utter the phrase, and turning the audio into a montage of "FU Philly."

Hilarious, guys.

When we design your menu item, we'll make sure it's overcrowded, smells bad and is way overpriced.

Perhaps the Eli Manning fries will have a couple of good bites, but the rest of it can be really average.

Maybe nobody can order or care about the Mets fries.

The Knicks fries can have a way overpaid, fattening centerpiece, with expired garnish surrounding it.

We'll probably pass on the Joe Johnson fries, as there will likely be only one person who will ever be willing to pay their cost.
