Video: Police Seek Suspects Who Robbed Two 18-Year-Old Females

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)—The Philadelphia Police Department is looking for two suspects who robbed two 18-year-old females in Hartranft.

The robbery occurred on October 6th at 2:30 a.m., while the victims were walking east of Dauphin Street towards Broad Street. When the females were crossing Broad Street they began talking to two unknown males.

Once they reached the 2300 block of North Watts Street, the two males they were conversing with left.

At this time, the first suspect approached the first victim from behind, grabbed her and slammed her on the ground.

While on the ground, the suspect took her purse containing her identification, check card and keys.

The second suspect attempted to take the second victim's cell phone but was unsuccessful in his efforts.

Both suspects fled the area north on Watts Street.

The first suspect is described as a Black male, 20-years-old, wearing a purple shirt and dark jeans.

The second suspect is described as a Black male, 20-years-old, wearing a white t-shirt, dark shorts and has tattoos on his upper chest.

The victims suffered minor injuries from the incident.
