1 Dead In West Windsor Township Crash
WEST WINDSOR Twp., N.J., (CBS) – Police say one person is dead after an accident involving a minivan and a motorcycle Monday night in West Windsor Township, Mercer County.
West Windsor Township Police responded at about 6:15 pm to an accident at the intersection of Windsor Road and South Lane.
The motorcyclist, identified by police as Daniel F. Rivella Jr., 42, of Trenton, was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the minivan was not injured.
The roadway was closed for about two hours.
West Windsor Volunteer Fire Company assisted at the scene with lighting and traffic control.
The collision remains under investigation by the West Windsor Township Police Department Traffic Unit and the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office Serious Collision Response Team.
