Man Shot In Arm During Apparent Robbery Attempt In Northeast Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating the shooting of a man in the arm in Northeast Philadelphia early Thursday morning.

The shooting happened at about 1 a.m. in the 1300 block of Knorr Street near Frontenac Street.

According to investigators, a 21-year-old male was shot in the forearm. The man was taken to Aria Health's Torresdale Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Police are investigating whether the shooting was the result of a robbery attempt.

So far, no arrests have been made.

The shooting remains under investigation.
