Wednesday's Child: Chyna

By Larry Kane

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --  Seventeen-year-old Chyna wants a career in a hair salon.

"I like to do hair," she tells Wednesday's Child.  "I like to do other people's hair. I did my sister's hair one time in box braids."

And she already has quite a bit of expertise.

"I like sew-ins, grow-ins, braids, box braids, micro-braids. I like dreads, I like twisties, olly-twists, singly twists..."

Chyna has a big heart and loves little children.

"For 12th grade seniors, they do 'babies' (parenting simulation) for a week or a day. And you have to take care of it and feed it and all that other stuff, and I want to try it out."

And she'd love to find a permanent home that includes young kids she'd have to take care of.
