Wilmington Man Arrested For Burglary Spree

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Delaware police have arrested a 47-year-old man for a string of robberies in New Castle County.

Daniel Jones, of Wilmington, was arrested after detectives linked him to eight burglaries in the area.

The burglaries allegedly happened over the past two weeks and included six residential burglaries, one maintenance room burglary and one theft from a motor vehicle.

Jones has been charged with all seven burglaries and was committed to Howard Young Correctional Institute in lieu of $18,000 cash bail.
