City Tavern Reopens Amid Government Shutdown

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – After falling victim to the federal government shutdown, City Tavern will reopen for business Saturday.

City Tavern closed Wednesday, Oct. 2nd, ordered to do so as a concessionaire of the National Park Service (see related story).

Tom Lamb, Director of Operations, confirmed Friday night the National Park Service granted permission for City Tavern to reopen.

City Tavern will reopen at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
