BRIDGETON, N.J. (CBS)–According to the Bridgeton Police Department, a 19-year-old man and two juveniles have been arrested and charged in connection with a home invasion and fatal shooting.
Jacob T. Randolph, 19, was charged with felony murder, five counts of aggravated assault, two counts of robbery and burglary, weapons offenses and four counts of employing a juvenile to commit a crime.
The two juveniles, a 16-year-old South Ave. male and a 17-year-old Sicklerville female, were also charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
Randolph’s charges including the armed robbery of another South Ave. resident minutes prior to the fatal shooting and both incidents occurred on the 200 block of South Ave., just walking distance from Randolph’s residence.
Randolph allegedly shot 44-year-old Enrique Santiago Monday night after he entered the front door of Santiago’s residence, brandishing a handgun at Santiago and his family members demanding money
Additionally, he is charged with kicking open the front door of a 33-year-old woman’s home, demanding money from her at gunpoint before leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim in that incident was not injured.
Randolph and the juveniles were processed at police headquarters and Randolph was taken to the Cumberland County Jail in lieu of $1 million bail.
The juveniles were transported to the Cumberland County Juvenile Detention Center.
