Immigration Reform Rally Held In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Immigration reform rallies were being held in more than 100 U.S. cities Saturday, including in Philadelphia.
Some were holding signs that read "dignity", "respect", "keep families together" and "the time is now."
Speaker after speaker talked about the need for immigration reform for the 11-million undocumented people in this country.
Blanca Pacheco immigrated from Ecuador and is a member of New Sanctuary which is an interfaith, multicultural immigrants rights coalition.
"We need it to be done so people can get a work permit," she said. "People are all ready paying taxes but that's bring more people out of the shadows to pay taxes get a social security number to be able to drive to be able to travel if someone in your family is six or dying."
Participants want law makers to pass immigration reform with a path to citizenship.
