Police: Trend Of Armed Robberies In East Camden

CAMDEN, N.J., (CBS) -- Camden County Police are advising residents about two suspects believed to be involved in at least seven gunpoint robberies in the past two weeks.

Police say the incidents have occurred in East Camden between September 23rd and October 1st.

According to police, some victims have been approached at the rear of their home or in their driveways. Others have been approached while walking along sidewalks. In each case, police say the suspects have brandished guns and demanded money in Spanish. The robberies have occurred during the day and at night.

Police describe the suspects as Hispanic males between 5'2" and 5'9" and weighing 150-175 pounds. They have worn hooded sweatshirts of various colors during the robberies.
