Police Search For Two Men In Connection To Attempted Child Luring In Lindenwold

LINDENWOLD, N.J. (CBS)--On September 25th, at approximately 8 p.m. Lindenwold Police responded to a call from the 3000 building of Arborwood Condominiums for an attempted child luring incident.

The incident involved two juvenile females, ages nine and 10.

The two females were standing on the street in front of the condominium building when a white van pulled up to them.  A male then jumped out of the side cargo area door and said, "Your mom sent me to take you home."

The females ran away screaming and the man chased them for a short distance before eventually returning to his vehicle and fleeing the scene in the direction of Gibbsboro Road.

The girls have been located safe at their apartment following the incident.

The suspect who got out of the van was described as wearing all black with a ski mask covering his face. The driver, who never got out of the van, was identified as a white male.

The white van only has front door windows. The vehicle's brake lights are mounted on the upper portion of the rear van doors, suggesting it is a GMC make. The license plate is located on the right rear door.
