12-Year-Old Girl Injured In Germantown Hit-And-Run Accident

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police say a 12-year-old girl was injured in a hit-and-run accident Friday night.

The incident was reported around 6:30 p.m. at the 5200 block of Wakefield Street in Germantown.

Police say the girl was struck by a gold Chevy Impala.  She was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.

Police are searching for the driver.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
