Suspect Wanted For WAWA Robbery In Somerton

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)--The Philadelphia Police Department is on the hunt for a suspect who robbed a WAWA store in Somerton.

The incident occurred on August 24th at 5:18 p.m. An unknown male entered the store and approached an employee working at the cash register. The suspect then demanded money, and stated that he had a gun.

After the employee gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money, the suspect fled the scene through the rear doors in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a white male, 30-40 years old, 5'8", 200lbs, wearing a white tank top over a red shirt and black shorts.

The police ask that if you see the suspect do not approach him, but to contact 911 immediately.
